PROJECT: 8-BALL SHOOTER
01.01.2005
Uncle Andy and Matt
We used about $60 worth of materials to build a 18 foot medieval weapon. We managed to hock an 8-ball about 100 yards. I'm not sure how we could let such a thing happen, but we did not get Andrew's near-death experience on tape. After loading 200 pounds of concrete onto the trebuchet, we once again launched an 8-ball into the air, but instead of going forward, the ball went about 300 feet into the air and landed no more than 10 feet from Andy's trembling, fetal-positioned body. It was awesome!
