The Bio-Activated Directed Energy Resource

When the first internal combustion engine was invented, the world was forever changed. Plants could be picked faster with combines and people could become more connected with the use of automobiles. Now it is impossible to imagine a world without automobiles, but it might be something the future human race will experience. If something is not done to preserve the planet's oil reserves and protect the air, automobiles will soon be obsolete, and the world will take a giant leap back into the stone age. The invention of an automobile that runs on a renewable source and gives off another type of fuel as waste would help the planet both economically and ecologically.

This automobile would have an energy-saving "Bio Activated Directed Energy Resource" or B.A.D.E.R. system instead of the common fuel-wasting internal combustion engine that is in most every type of practical vehicle known. The B.A.D.E.R. is a set of two specialized fuel chamber systems connected to a master B.A.D.E.R. chamber. (See fig. 1)  In one Slave B.A.D.E.R. chamber, there is a pressurized tank full of yeast mixed with water. The other Slave B.A.D.E.R. chamber is filled with liquid glucose. The master B.A.D.E.R. is where the actual energy-producing chemical reaction takes place. When the yeast from Slave B.A.D.E.R. chamber one and the glucose in Slave B.A.D.E.R. chamber two react in the master B.A.D.E.R., ethanol is produced along with carbon dioxide. The products of the reaction expand and create very high pressures much like that in a champagne bottle or in rising bread. This pressure can be directed into a piston causing the piston to move up and down thus turning chemical energy to mechanical energy. After leaving the piston, the ethanol can be filtered into a containment B.A.D.E.R. chamber known as the ethanol cell. When the Slave B.A.D.E.R. chambers are empty, the motor cannot run anymore, so it must be refueled. Fortunately, yeast and sugar are highly accessible products and are much cheaper than gasoline. The ethanol can also be sold for use as another fuel source. This reduces cost for the consumer and protects those who rely on the high power of ethanol fueled engines, such as heavy machinery operators.

The economic reasons to have such an automobile are virtually endless. National economy will be improved for the United States because of this invention. If the U.S. has no need for oil, there is less reliance on middle eastern fuel. Also, American farmers can grow glucose in corn and soybeans at a low cost. This means the U.S. will have more demand for growing crops. The higher demand for corn and soybeans will help raise prices and make farmers more money. America would benefit from having the agricultural industry stimulated. Individual citizens can benefit from the B.A.D.E.R. system also. The consumer can get fuel for a low price because the waste can be sold back for use again. The B.A.D.E.R. system is so simple that almost anyone would be able to perform routine maintenance with only a small amount of knowledge. Low prices and low maintenance help out the general public.

Even more importantly than assisting the economy, the B.A.D.E.R. will help the earth. Energy-saving is an important property of the B.A.D.E.R. This invention uses an endothermic reaction to run a motor. That means it absorbs energy instead of expelling it into the atmosphere. When excess energy is harnessed, it can be used again. This saves the ozone from being eaten away. Also, natural fossil fuels are being consumed so fast that other renewable sources need to be taken into consideration. The B.A.D.E.R. uses two renewable sources that will never be depleted. Low amounts of pollution and inexhaustible fuel are both great properties for an automobile.

Ethanol is soon to be a highly demanded fuel source, and there is no reason why people should not use the creation of ethanol to drive them. That is the main belief behind the development of the B.A.D.E.R. It is also such a simple concept that it is surprising that no one has ever come up with this idea before. Maybe someday instead of having a destroyed planet with no cars, people will have fast, efficient transportation and a clean environment.
